AP Jagananna Gorumudda Scheme:- Over the years, the concept of mid-day meals has been a great advantage for our country’s government schools. With the name of mid-day meals, many students have been admitted to government schools. In this article, we will share with the reader the important aspects of the Andhra Pradesh YSR mid-day meal scheme which will be renamed as the Jagananna Gorumudda Scheme for the year 2023. In this article, we will also share the menu of food which will be provided under the Jagananna Gurumudda scheme 2023.

The Andhra Pradesh mid-day meal has been revoked into the Jagananna Gurumudda Scheme because the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh state that is Mr. YSR Jagan Mohan Reddy wanted to make the scheme comfortable for all of the students who are studying in schools of Andhra Pradesh state. The Chief Minister wanted to include all of the nutrients in the mid-day meals that are being offered to all government school students.

Implementation Of The AP YSR Mid Day Meal Scheme

The Chief Minister of the AP state has also stated that the state government has decided to increase the salary of the people who prepare and distribute the mid-day meals at the schools. Also, good ingredients will be made available for all of the organizations to prepare Mid-day meals for all of the children of Government schools in Andhra Pradesh state.  Increasing salaries will provide a healthy environment for all of the distributors of Andhra Pradesh’s mid-day meal.

Menu Of Jagananna Gorumudda Scheme

The following menu has been finalized by the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh state for the mid-day meal in government school of Andhra Pradesh:-

Monday	Rice, Egg curry, Chickpea (a recipe for peanut lentil gingerbread)
Tuesday	Puliohara, Tomato dal, Boiled egg
Wednesday	Vegetable Rice, Aloo Kurma, Boiled Egg, Chickpea
Thursday	Kichadi, Tomato chutney, Boiled egg
Friday	Rice, Asparagus, Boiled egg, Chickpea
Saturday	Rice, sambar, and Sweet Pongal

Specification Of The Meals

It is also said by the concerned authorities of the Andhra Pradesh Government that boiled eggs will be provided to all of the students of the Government schools of Andhra Pradesh state. Boiled eggs will be provided four times a week to all of the students who are appearing in the school for studying. The meal is also provided to the students from class 1st to class 10th. Proper food utilization and distribution are expected from all of the concerned authorities of Government schools. Also, all DEOs are instructed to ensure that MDM bills are submitted to the Treasury Office by the 5th of every month for the previous month’s bills and payment should be made by the 10th of every month.
