Benefits Of Atmanirbhar Gujarat Sahay Yojana

The Gujarat government has come out with this scheme to help all of the poor businessmen whose businesses have been struck by the Coronavirus disease and are not able to revive their businesses. The Gujarat government will give a one lakh rupees loan on 2% interest will be which will be a great deal for all of those businessmen who want to revive their businesses after this lockdown. This deal as said by the concerned authorities of the Gujarat government is far better than all of the other states’ incentives of only rupees 5000.

mplementation Of The Scheme

Around 10 lakh recipients will be given an advance of Rs. 1 lakh each from banks at just 2% yearly enthusiasm to begin their lives once again under Atmanirbhar Gujarat Sahay Yojana. All the credits will be given based on application and no assurance will be required. Gujarat Government will pay the remaining 6% enthusiasm on credit to banks. Features of Atmanirbhar Gujarat Sahay Yojana

• The scheme is beneficial for the 10 lakh small-time businessmen in the state including grocery shop owners, vegetable vendors and autorickshaw drivers.
• Beneficiaries will get a collateral-free loan up to Rs. 1 Lakh
• Applicants have to pay interest of 2% per annum while the remaining 6% interest will be paid by the state government
• 6 months moratorium period will be given to the beneficiaries
• The loan will be provided by cooperative banks, district banks, and credit cooperative societies
• The government has sanctioned Rs.5000 crore for the project

• Tenure of the loan: Under Atmanirbhar Gujarat Sahay Yojana the tenure for loan is 3 years. That means the loan has to be repaid within a period of three years.
• Interest rate: Under Atmanirbhar Gujarat Sahay Yojana a loan of Rs 1 lakh will be given to beneficiaries at an interest of  2% per annum.
